The institutional sales and trading effort is complemented
by a municipal strategy arm, which closely monitors trading positions
and overall credit issues. As needed, an internal report
highlighting changes in credit status among municipal issuers
is distributed to sales and traders who then disseminate the information
to portfolio managers and investors.
New Issue Fundamentals
For new issues in which Ramirez & Co is a senior
manager or co-manager, the Municipal Department produces
a New Issue Fundamentals report that focuses on the Issuer's credit
features by presenting salient points. These reports
are distributed to institutional investors
through the Firm's website.
